About Art Space Tokyo

Art Space Tokyo was co-authored by Ashley Rawlings and Craig Mod. It was illustrated by Nobumasa Takahashi, perhaps one of the most simultaneously generous, artistic, and entrepreneurial individuals in that vast city.

Ashley edited and conducted most of the interviews. Craig designed the physical and digital editions, and acted as resident coffee expert as the two traipsed across Tokyo in the sweltering summer heat, looking for the best galleries to introduce to those visiting our beloved city.

The first edition of the physical book was published by Chin Music Press in 2008. The second edition was published by PRE/POST in 2010, after a successful Kickstarter campaign.
